The Women's Probus Club of Pretty River

The Women’s Pretty River Probus Club was founded in 1995 and is one of the oldest Probus groups in Collingwood. This physically beautiful and culturally rich area enables the club to offer retired and pre-retired women a large variety of indoor and outdoor activities and events.

Indoor activities include book club, knitting, birthday lunch, foodies, cocktails and conversation, bridge, euchre, pickleball and others. Outdoor activities include cycling, hiking, skiing, x-country skiing, and golf. In addition to activities, one-time events such as concerts, boat tours, and art shows also run throughout the year. Enthusiastic and supportive volunteers co-ordinate all the activities and events.

The monthly meeting is an opportunity for members to socialize and to hear from an informative and interesting speaker. Transportation assistance is available if needed.

The Women’s Pretty River Probus Club is known for being welcoming and inclusive, active and well organized, and, most importantly, friendly and fun.
