HOW TO JOIN ACTIVITY GROUPS AND REGISTER FOR ACTIVITIES |
JOIN ACTIVITY GROUP
In our example below, this is how to join the Golf activity Group.
1. Log in to The Women’s Probus Club of Pretty River website.
2. Find the activity group you’d like to join by clicking on “Activities” on the main menu bar. Activities are organized into:
a. Arts, Crafts & Culture
b. Food & Drink
c. Games
d. Sports
3. Click “Join this group”
4. A screen will appear with the Activity Group details. Click “Register” to join this group and sign up to receive information about this Activity Group. You will still need to register for individual activity group sessions to let the leader(s) know which sessions you’ll be attending.
5. A “Registration confirmation” pop-up window will appear, and you have the option of including your name in the list of registrants that is public to other members. It is not viewable to the public; it is only viewable to members who are logged in. If you don’t want to be included, click on the box to unselect.
The date shown refers to the date registration for the group became available, not the date of a particular session.
6. Click “Complete registration”
7. You will know your registration for the Activity Group was successful – you will see on screen an event registration confirmation receipt and you will also receive an email confirmation from The Women’s Probus Club of Pretty River.
8. You can view the events for which you have registered through “My profile” under the heading "My event registrations”.
REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITES
In our example, this is how to register for the June golf session.
1. Details of individual activities can be found below the Activity Group description or on the Calendar of Activities. Both are drop-down options from the main menu. Sessions are posted as details become available. Locate the session you’d like to sign up for and click “Register”.
2. A “Registration confirmation” pop-up window will appear, and you have the option of including your name in the list of registrants that is public to other members. It is not viewable to the public; it is only viewable to members who are logged in. If you don’t want to be included, click on the box to unselect.
In this case, the date shown will be the actual date of the activity.
3. Click “Complete registration”
4. You will know your registration for the activity was successful – you will see on screen an event registration confirmation receipt and you will also receive an email confirmation from The Women’s Probus Club of Pretty River.
5. You can view the events for which you have registered through “My profile” under the heading “My event registrations”.
